2013 Event Video
Celebrate the power of individual philanthropy at the Circle of Women fundraiser. Guests hear from women who have changed their lives with support from YWCA Madison and discover how their gift benefits women and their families in our community. The YWCA create this event to encourage philanthropy among women and provide an opportunity to network with others from diverse social, ethnic, economic, educational, and cultural backgrounds. Men are also welcome to attend. Thanks to more than 800 attendees and support from sponsors, the 2013 Circle of Women Fundraiser on February 21 raised over $150,000, a $25,000 increase over the 2012 event.
Circle of Women is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to support YWCA programs and learn about their impact on the community and individual lives. Funds donated by guests at the event will support the YWCA Madison's programs for affordable housing, employment and training, racial and restorative justice, affordable transportation, and after-school enrichment for young girls. Because of our generous sponsors, each dollar raised goes directly to the YWCA to support local programming.
The YWCA Madison held the first Circle of Women fundraiser in 2004. With great success, the event continues to grow. In 2013, over 800 people attended the 10th anniversary event and donated over $150,000 for YWCA programs and services.
