Empowering Women to Close the Leadership Gap

What you and your organization will gain...

At this monthly, 8-session workshop series, you will develop leadership skills to support personal growth and strengthen your organization. You will also develop connections with a group of peers who are all passionate about women's leadership.

Who should apply...

The series will benefit women in public, private and non-profit careers who want to expand their leadership skills. Application is open to all. Twenty attendees will be selected. Women who currently work in entry to mid-level management strongly encouraged to apply. 

Application Details... 

Tuition* for this 8-session workshop series is $1,250 per person. Non-profit employees can register at the discounted rate of $500 per person.

*Tuition for this professional development opportunity includes program materials, instruction, breakfast and beverages at each meeting, and lunch at the final meeting. Attendees will be issued a participation certificate at the series conclusion.

Schedule & Topics...

All sessions will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month (starting Oct. 6th) from 8:00AM - 12:00PM at the YWCA Empowerment Center, located at 3101 Latham Drive, Madison WI. Session topics will include defining career goals, marketing your strengths, negotiating for success, and more. Guest workshop facilitators will include YWCA CEO Rachel Krinsky, CUNA Mutual Foundation Manager for Diversity & Inclusion Angela Russell, and others.
