Development Associate

YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for a Development Associate for our Development and Marketing Department.
The Development Associate is a key member of the Development and Marketing Department at the YWCA, This role supports our culture of philanthropy through strong data management, attention to detail, and timely follow up. Key responsibilities include database management, event registration and logistics coordination, and volunteer tracking, with the goal creating lasting relationships with donors and volunteers.
This is an hourly position that will typically work 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $15-$17 per hour. Excellent benefits package with generous paid time off. Work schedule flexible.

The ideal candidate will possess:


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Associate’s degree or one to two years related experience and/or training,
  • Donor Management Software expertise, preferably Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud Kintera Sphere and Content Management System.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with racial justice and equity and demonstrated respect and sensitivity for cultural differences essential.
