Bilingual (Spanish) Empower Home Case Manager

YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for a Bilingual (Spanish) Empower Home Case Manager for our Empower Home Program at YWCA Madison at 101 E. Mifflin St.
This position will assist survivors of domestic violence in the Empower Home program; a transitional housing program for survivors of domestic abuse that are experiencing homelessness as a result of having to flee intimate partner violence. The Case Manager will provide culturally inclusive, trauma informed programming and services and will incorporate best practice techniques.
This is a salaried position requiring a regular schedule of 36 hours each week, most hours occur during regular business hours, but a commitment to work Tuesday evenings is required. The salary range is $35,000-$43,000. Excellent benefits package with generous paid time off.

The ideal candidate will possess: (Updated Requirements)

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience in related fields required..
  • Experience in the following areas: case management, domestic abuse services, housing and homelessness, and advocacy.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of case management techniques, landlord/tenant law, low-income and subsidized housing programs, mental health, trauma, AODA, poverty issues and knowledge of resources available to low-income households.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence issues and survivor-centered, holistic support.
  • Record-keeping skills.
