Equity & Inclusion Packages

YWCA Madison is partnering with organizations who are committed to an equity & inclusion change process by offering 3 levels of capacity building and  technical assistance. All packages include training, access to resources and a learning community of organizations engaged in similar processes.
At each level of partnership, packages can be adapted to meet your equity & inclusion needs.

Equity & Inclusion Levels


Partner Package            // One Year Commitment

Many organizations feel confident during training, but need additional support moving their staff forward. This package is excellent for organizations that have determined that they are committed to an equity & inclusion change process, and who will value additional support as they continue their process, It provides a basic understanding of the spectrum of equity within an organizational structure and provides some scaffolding for how to begin moving from one stage of equity to the next. The follow up training provides additional depth of knowledge and can act as a bridge between the initial understanding of the stages of an equitable organization and a broader understanding of how inequity within a systemic context can impact individuals within their organization.


Collaborator Package    // Two Year Commitment

This partnership will allow the change process to truly be internalized at the partner organization. This package is excellent for organizations that have determined that they are prepared to engage with an equity and inclusion change process moving forward. It provides a deep understanding of the spectrum of equity within an organizational structure and provides significant scaffolding for how to begin moving from one stage of equity to the next. In addition:
  • The follow up training provides additional depth of knowledge and can act as a bridge between the initial understanding of the stages of an equitable organization and a broader understanding of how inequity within a systemic context can impact individuals within their organization.
  • The planning sessions for Change Team facilitation provides accountability for the Change Team Liaison and support in moving the organization from planning and goal setting to implementation.


Sustainer Package       // Three Year Commitment

This package provides a level of support that is similar to having a part-time Equity & Inclusion staff person. It is excellent for committed organizations that have determined that they are prepared to engage with an equity & inclusion change process. It provides a deep understanding of the spectrum of equity within an organizational structure and provides significant scaffolding for how to begin moving from one stage of equity to the next. In addition:
  • The Train-the-Trainer and the follow-up YWCA trainings provide an additional depth of knowledge and they support internal capacity to continue to embed racial equity in the organizational culture, climate, and structures.
  • The facilitated Change Team Meetings provide the Change Team Liaison with a lower stress, more guided approach to Change Team meeting facilitation. We recommend that, in the interim months between facilitated Change Team Meetings that Change Team Liaisons check in with Change Team subgroups to ensure implementation of planning steps goes smoothly throughout the year.
