YWCA Madison Circle Captains

THANK YOU for considering becoming a 2022 Circle Captain!

Circle Captains (previously Table Captains) are an integral part of YWCA Madison Circle’s success, and are also an integral part of YWCA Madison’s mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Many people ask, “what can I do?” to support racial justice in our community. Being a Circle Captain is a tangible way to raise critical funds for YWCA Madison, raise awareness in our community, and support one of Dane County’s largest organizations run by a Black woman leader in our community, Vanessa McDowell.

We promise you and your guests a memorable program and a rewarding experience. At the conclusion of the event, your guests will be asked to make a pledge of at least $100 to YWCA Madison. Contributions may be paid in different ways.

  • Getting  a minimum of 10 – 20 people to attend virtually and donate $100. (Because we are virtual, you can invite people from anywhere! So you can engage new people in the work of YWCA Madison. )
  • Engage your guests before, during and after the event. About a 2 hour commitment on the day of the event. A Circle Captain hosted session (like a Zoom) is available for your guests and you. We hope you’ll host a Session!
  • Share posts/emails about YWCA Madison Circle virtual event.

YWCA Madison Circle will take place virtually on February 16, 2022 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM.
