YWeb Basic Skills Application

YWeb Career Academy’s (YWeb) Basic Skills course is an 8 week class specifically for returning citizens and other individuals that have encountered the criminal justice system.

This 8 week course will focus on healing traumas experienced from incarceration through Restorative Circles. The Basic Skills course is structured to get participants introduced to basic technical skills and applications that will support the students in furthering their education in the IT field, and support them as they search for employment.

YWeb Basic Skills will prepare, position, and support individuals into life changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible.  The program covers technical skills such as computer basics, Microsoft Office Suite, and employability skills such as project management, interview practice, and resume writing.
