Annual Downtown Block Party

Since 2006, our annual Block Party has been one of YWCA Madison's most cherished traditions, bringing together residents, families, neighbors, and community partners for an evening of fun, connection, and celebration.

Join us at our Downtown Residence on the corner of Mifflin St. & Pinckney St. to connect with the community, learn more about our Housing Justice work, and explore a variety of activities and resources. Whether you're a resident, program participant, visiting for the first time, or returning as a longtime supporter, we welcome you to experience the vibrant community that calls YWCA Madison home.

Enjoy a carnival-theme Block Party featuring a live DJ, games and activities for all ages, delicious food, and community partner resources.

This free, family-friendly event is open to everyone!

Please note: Complimentary snacks, desserts, and beverages will be available for all attendees. Meals from our food carts are covered for residents of 101 Downtown Residence. Community members who are not residents are welcome to purchase food directly from the food carts.
