YW Transit

Job Ride is an innovative transportation program that helps remove barriers to employment for low-income individuals by providing reliable rides to and from work. The program was created to ensure that lack of transportation never stands in the way of economic opportunity.

  • To ensure equitable access, ride priority and subsidized fares are available for participants whose household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.

Clients above this threshold may also ride, but at an increased rate.

All rides must be pre-scheduled to ensure coordination and availability. Applicants who currently live along an active bus line during service hours are not eligible for Job Ride.
