YW Transit is an innovative transportation program that helps remove barriers to employment for low-income individuals by providing reliable rides to and from work. The program was created to ensure that transportation supports people in being present for economic opportunities that impact their livelihoods.

Job ride

Job Ride serves areas that are not accessible during non-peak public transportation hours—including nights, weekends, and holidays.

YW Transit proudly partners with the Guaranteed Ride Home program, offering taxi vouchers to rideshare participants in case of emergencies. This vital community program is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) through 49 U.S.C. § 5311 Formula Grants for Other than Urbanized Areas (CFDA 20.509).
